On Christmas Eve 2015, Olivia’s mom found her daughter hemorrhaging and unresponsive. The 11-year-old required multiple blood transfusions to stabilize and prepare her for emergency surgery to stop the bleeding. Her family received the greatest gift of all that year: the gift of life.

Where Are They Now

Olivia is now an honor student at her high school, and she hopes to continue her studies in the medical field in college. She and her family work to raise awareness about the importance of blood donations, often telling others, “You may not know the life you save, but I promise you they will be forever grateful.”
