As Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of OneBlood, Martin Grable is responsible for all financial aspects of the organization as well as communications and public relations, facilities, fleet and procurement.
Prior to joining OneBlood, Martin was President and CEO of Community Blood Center of the Carolinas for more than 15 years.
Martin served on the Board of Directors for America’s Blood Centers for 10 years.
During his tenure on the board he held several leadership roles including, treasurer, vice president, president and currently past president. Other industry involvement includes membership in AABB where he has served on several committees, including the Nominations Committee.
Prior to his work in the blood industry, Martin co-founded and was President and CEO of Matrix Absence Management, Inc. Matrix was the marketplace leader in the integration and administration of absence related benefit programs for more than 160 client corporations, including 35 of the 50 largest public companies in California and nearly 30% of the Fortune 100 companies in the United States. Matrix was acquired by Delphi Financial Group, Inc. in July 1998.
Other community involvement includes, serving for ten years on the Technical Advisory Board of Lifeshare of the Carolinas. He is also a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Kansas and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and political science. He also studied at the Kennedy School of Government and the Business School at Harvard, as well as the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
